A tube containing 20 seed balls, each with 20 salad seeds per ball (600 seeds per tube). The mix includes wild rocket, mustard, kale, greek cress, mizuna. These make for lovely garden or kitchen gifts or eco friendly stocking fillers. They will work well in window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens, and if left to flower is great for bees.
One tube of seed balls will cover 1 square metre in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered from early Spring to late Autumn.
Rocket
Wild rocket (Diplotaxis tenuifolia), also known as perennial wall rocket, is a robust leafy green native to the Mediterranean region. This hardy plant thrives in well-drained soils and sunny spots. It features elongated, deeply lobed leaves that offer a distinct, peppery flavor, making it a popular addition to salads and culinary dishes. Wild rocket blooms from spring to autumn, producing small, yellow flowers that attract pollinators. Rich in vitamins A and C, as well as minerals like potassium, it is both a nutritious and flavorful ingredient in various cuisines.
